CIAO MES AMIGOS
today was the last day of excursions WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
we have the next two days (fri and sat) to work on our presentations ... but me and nici are pretty organised and have a huge bulk of it done - just have to fix our french, finish writing bits of it and make the slides ... we are hoping to get finished eraly on sat and then have lunch at QUICK!! its the french version ofmacdonalds ...
it was a very big decision over where to have our final lunch - QUICK or MACDO (thats how u say maccas in french) ... we decided quick because it has a better savoury selection ... actually it just has these really aewsome burger things we want to try - three cheese burgers!!!!! with like 5cm of cheese inside -- MIAM MIAM ...
maccas have better mc flurries -- but the burgers are btter at quick ;) .. geee im a loser haha
a nways ... we went to mont martre today ... seee nicis blog for our lateness story ... nic just told me that we visited the old mont martre today --- i wasnt aware of this haha :P ... but we had a lady take us for a tour around the old mont martre before lunch! :) the lady was awesome --- she was the type of lady that id be proud to have as my grandma
very friendly - warm, bubbly yet precise - not talking crap, not giving irrelevant details ... and very aware of how cold it was!!
the general weather in paris today was meant to be 1 - 5 degrees ... it was about 4 degrees this morning as we were catching the bus to mont martre .. but , mont martre is at the top of a mountain - highest point in paris -so was much colder - about 1 degreee!!! WOOO crazy crazy stuff ...
after mont martre ... me and nic headed out to paris centre ... love doing our own tihng :) so so fun ... nic got some really pretty scarfs for only 5 euro!!!
then we went to HnM - its the sports girl of france ... i needed some cheapo thin gloves ... because when it gets really cold my leather ones get a bit coolish ..
aunty suzanne told me that leather gloves would be too cold for europe before i left (well leather ones that weren't lined inside) ... BUT i found the more elegant pair of brown gloves at DeCjuba ... and dark red inside ... with the cutest shape on the top of the palm .. but they werent lined of course .. brought htem anyway ... but wen it gets cold they don't protect from the cold (aunty sue, i shouldve beeen more sensible --- but they were just so cute:)) ... so at hnm i brought a thin pair of 2euro cotton gloves to wear under my leather ones :D perfect solution
also got a big cheaper black scarf -- really thin knitted cotton .. cute ... good for colder days .. and the most AWESOME CHERRY RED NAILPOLISH!!! its a very very deep red -- adore it ... amanda has one like it and ive wanted it for a whole two weeks ... i also want deep red lipstick now haha
nici got a mcflurry at macas --- with DAIM --its a european chocolate bar so yum --- caramel n chocolate ..
there was the CRAZIEST man in maccas!!! he kept turning around n looking at us and everyone at the store ... talking to himself etc ... he was wearing a pink bracelet from Zara!!! ... then he strated yelling out in english 'FUCK ... PALESTINE' was all i could make out ... just randomly shouted a word in english every few seconds .. hahahahahahaha so funny and random ... awful problem france have with the homeless though :(
all for today ... spent avo cleaning my room (avoiding finish assingment) im going to paint my nails soon and then head off for din (AN HOUR WOOO)
