lastnite was one of the funniest nights ive ever had!!!
BEST night out in forever hahaha
we did nothing interesting during the day just worked on assingments ... and then me and nici went out that night
we started doing pre drinks and getting ready from 430 ish ... paris has hapy hours everywhere from 7 - 9 so we wanted to get into the city by 7ish ...
wee left CIEP and caught the metro into the train -- both of us took a small flask becasuse we thought drinks would be sooo soo expensive!!!!
went to cafe OZ ... its this bar/club place right in the centre of paris - and its a place for australian expatriotes --- COOlEST deco in the world - like a really tacky bar in darwin .. very much reminded me of cheeky monkeys in byron bay ...
cocktails were 5 euro yayay so cheap ...
so we walk up to the bar and order our cocktails - the waiter notices we are austrailan ..!!! sooo ... FREE DRINKS ALL NIGHT hahahaha :D best thing in the world ... the waiters were all australian and one new zealand guy and were all living in paris --- i think we ended up getting 5 - 6 free shots ... absinte, jagermister and all this other stuff (there was one mint one .. one strawbery one... and some other stuff) everyone was SO AWESOME!!!!!
there were heaps of people from places around the world that had moved to paris!!! we met all the nicest english girls ... and there were heaps of native french people as well who could talk only french!!! SO NICE .. so much fun ... so great speaking english ... musuic was fun loud pub music and at like 12ish turned into a club place ... me and nici r going back EVEYR DAY NXT WEEK
took the metro home ... funniest train ride home ... we were so loud ... mr sarkoszy might personally escort us out of paris if we ever step foot on the metro again (joking!! haha) but it was very safe ... heaps of people!!!!
when we got off the bus from the train station ... we had to walk through this little park ... and its a small bit- about fifty metres .. and a bit path way that is well lit ... BUT the night before, one of the guys on the tour with us - michael - was mugged ... it was very late like 12.15 am and he was carrying an IPOD and wasn't listening .. and three boys approached him with a knfe ... if usaw this park, ud be incredulous that something like this could even happen because its so safe looking!! the managers here were so shcoked - something like this never happened .. but apparently anywhere in paris if you are walking alone you are a target...
sooooooooooo i had a plan to keep me and nici safe ... we took off our shoes and did a 10 second sprint up this 50 metre bit of the road - yelling random stuff at the top of our lungs ... just screaming really loud .... we thought that any potential robbers wouldnt come up to screaming crazy runnning girls ... SO WE DID THIS hahahahaha it was so much fun ... but we scared everyone on reception at the place we were staying and they heard us screaming and came out to the gate ... and were like 'WHAT IS GOING ON .. WHO ARE YOU ... ARE YOU OK' and we expplained our plan ...

feeel like shit today though ooopsy ... we have to do our oral presentations tomorrow ... this morning at braekkie was funny .. a few other gorups went out and everyone looked so hung over
