Talkkkkked to mama and papa last night for an hour or so ... got to bed lateish because I watched an episode of Gilmore girls ... and then woke up at 845 J
We had a class starting at 9 .. so skippd breakfast to get sleep (nici and manda were lovely and got me some rolls to much on before lunch J)
WE HAD THE MOST ANNOYING LCETURE TODAy ... remember Mr Grand? The guy that took me and nici out for lunch ...
WELL .. he took this mornigsclass (3 hous! ) hes the kind of person who just doesn’t shutup and goes on n on and on and has to put his personal opinion into everything ... hes a lonely old man with no one to listen to him to he craps on to us ...
He kept saying ‘ET UN AUTRE, EN PLUS’ (and another one ... ALSO) ... and showing us more and more photos!! I just felt like saying ‘NO EN PLUS!’ FINISH PLEAASE!! It became sort of a joke ... at 12.10 he goes, ‘oh and one thing to finish up’ and at 12.20 HE WAS STILL TALKING hahaha ... en plus en plus he didn’t shutup
But thennnnnnnn WE HAD THE BEST LUNCH EVER J

I had for my entrée:
A brie and apple salad – this sounds weird but was awesome ... was a slice of roast apple and a slice of melted roast brie on it – drizzled in red wine vinegar salad .. YUMYUM
And for main course we had gratin daupinois (potatoes sliced thin, cheese and cream – all baked) – and roast mushrooms yum .. and some random apple I didn’t eat?? Who puts apple on a main meeeal??
We had this dark chocolate mousse/crumble thing for desssssssert yummy J ... me and Duncan drank lots of wine yum yum
Thennnnnnn we went to the ‘small palace’ and ‘big palace’ – just some random places near the Champs Elysees ...
We had a tour at the louvre museum at night
So we had to get dinner at paris ...
Me Amanda and nic went to ‘La Duree’ in the Champs Elysee ... everyone had been talking about it and told us we had to go ... its this oldfashioned cake store that makes all these awesome French treats ... for those of you that have seen the movie Marie Antoinette with Kirsten Dunst .. La Duree baked the cakes from that movie ... its really beautiful the shop – two stories and everything is gilded in gold ... old fashioned furniture ... dark lighting and ust a pretty place generally ...(have a look at the pictures J) .. aunty sue and uncle john .. I showed the girls where I stayed with you last time in paris!
Thennnn we had a talk in the louvre ... I didn’t really pay much attention, it was about architecture BLAH ... instead I took nicis ipod and wandered around the louvre ... saw some of the ancient roman and greek stuff that nici saw last time and I hadn’t ,... really cool J louvre is very beautifu l... nic told me it used to be an old defence castle in the middle ages (we went down to the dungeons today- they are NOT scary at all) ... then it was a royal castle, then an art museum ...
Not much more to write today ... last day of classsesss tomorrow J
ITS FREEZIng!! Its 2 degreesnow ... was around 4 degrees all day!! Getting colder ... nicis hoping it snows (even though she knows it wont J) im hoping it does for her!! Id also like to see snow ... maybe ski around paris ... JOKING haha. ...
