Jess and I have both answered so many questions about our trip that I think we are both just ready to start the actual journey and have something to finally say about it. The truth is, we don't really know where we are going, how we are getting there, or what we hope to do or see. We don't want to talk about how much we saved, what we think about the current currency conversions, or what we'll do when we get back. We just want to live it! For the past couple of days, I've been in San Francisco and we've been preparing for our trip. Each day, we'd get a couple of things checked off of our (imaginary) to-do list and then do something fun. We went to the beach with her lovely mother, had a leisurely healthy lunch, ate ice cream with Katie and Khale. During all of this down time we would attempt to figure out details but usually ended up saying, "We'll do that later today". I think Jess and I both just don't want to plan. We promise juicy details as often as possible and plenty of photos, but we won't be able to give you any previews (or "scenes from the next" as we always say) because we don't know either!
Rock and roll!
