Taylors Perspective On The Night

SWITZERLAND | Saturday, 31 May 2008 | Views [576] | Comments [11]

Hey this is Taylor. I only got 2 hours of sleep last night.  I fell asleep at 12 and at 2 these 3 guys walked in very drunk. one of them was sleeping on the top of the bunk i was sleeping in.  at about 2 30 he fell out of the bed and onto the floor right beside me and then got up and just stood there for a few minutes.  he tehn walked beside my bed and walked out the window and onto the roof. at this time i had put my i pod on cause his friends were the loudest snorers i have ever heard.  about 10 minutes later he came back in through the window and started looking at my bags and he picked up my backpack and started walking away with it.  at that point i got his attention and told him that was my bag and to give it back to me. he stood there a little dazed and then droppen.  He then came around to the other side of my bed and sat down on my bed so i shoved him off and told him i wanted to sleep and didnt wsnt him on my bed.  he then turned towards my bed on the floor and just sat there and looked at me which freaked me out.  he fell asleep for about 15 minutes then got up and walked into the hall for about 10 minutes.  He then came back and sat in the same spot, fell asleep for 10 minutes and then just as i was about to fall asleep he put his feet right on my head.  I threw his feet off and he fell over.  I then got out of my bed, took my money pack and my ipod and went to take a shower to pass some time.  I got to the shower and couldnt figure out how to work it so i went back to the room where the guy once again had his feet on my bed.  I was about to sleep on the floor but decided to throw his feet off again.  This time it waked him up and he just started walking around.  He eventually was able to climb into his bed, allowing me to feel somewhat comfortable with closing my eyes and finally falling back to sleep at about 6 in the morning.  I watched the sunrose while all this was going on but wasnt able to enjoy it because of the circumstances.  Eventful night

Taylor, you can imagine that I think this is terrible and I hate that you had such an eventful night. Yall need to stay together and stay in nice places. I hope you get some rest today on the train and tonight. What day will yall end up in Paris? I am confused about your schedule. Take care...tell Alleen and her entourage hello from the Abrahams.

Well, Taylor, you should be well prepared for college next year. Your story reminds me of a few freshman I took home (back to the dorm) a few years back!! Glad you survived.

Wow. That sounds pretty terrible, Taylor. I can't think of anything much worse than not being able to sleep when you want to. I'm glad yall are having such a great time and I hear David gave us some blackmail-worthy pictures...can't wait to see those. David and Sumner, we are gonna miss yall for our first alumni league game...it's gonna be tough without the only two in-shape people in the whole league. I'll let yall know how it goes.

Keep on truckin'

ok.....no hostels on any trip I'm on with you?! No need to re-live any college days/nights....days without showers.....I've been thinking 'what a great time', but maybe I don't want to go on one these trips?! not to mention what the bathroom situation could be....i've got a hard enough time finding a clean bathroom in between Jxn and Atl! I did google 'top of europe' and it was pretty neat! Still praying for y'all and love reading along....
