Those immortal words. . . well, they came true and I am thrilled! We have talked about this trip for years, but it was always just talk. Last August, we made it a reality! Sumner and I booked our flights to Prague and returning back to the States from Paris. And then we got nine incredible traveling companions! And as they say, the rest is history. I revel in traveling. . .all aspects of it! The planning, the anticipation, the actual trip, the return, the memories, the stories, the pictures. . .I love it all. And now I get to share that passion with this group and share an experience that is like no other.
We are backpacking from Prague to Paris. As always, we have an idea of where we want to go and what we want to do, but when backpacking in Europe, anything can happen. . . and it usually does. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to take a backpack and explore Europe three times before. Each time, there have been bumps along the way and great experiences. I am sure we'll have the same. It is like any trip I take with a brand new journal. All those white pages. As I flip through them on the plane or in the airport at the beginning of a trip, I wonder, what words will fill these pages? What adventures and people will we encounter? And then it all unfolds along the way and is captured on those white pages that end up full of words, pictures, memories, and always laughter.

Our next article will be from Prague!! In about sixteen days!! Prague is my favorite European city! I cannot wait to go back to Charles Bridge, Lesser town, Prague Castle, and Old Town.
