Home again home again Jiggity Jig!

So after 23 hours of traveling I made it home!!! I had a lovely welcoming team--My mom, Dad and Jon!!! I was very tired and my body clock was all over the place. I'm still trying to get back into the swing of everything, but am feeling much better than at first. I have one more paper and a take home test from India, so I'm still feeling connected with my professors and classes in India. I must admit that the culture shock has set in and seeing such well constructed homes, and just grocery stores, etc. is a but puzzling and shocking when you've been in a developing country for the past 4 months. Food also is something I've become very picky about, I like it as fresh as possible, and with lots of herbs and spices...or else I'm just not very interested in eating. Also it's so much colder here in DC...I'm needing to always bundle up....even inside. Good thing I brought plenty of dupatas (scarves) back with me!
I'm doing my best to keep up with my yoga and meditation, so far it's been a good tool for reacclimatizing myself to the western ways, and pace of life. Now I'm just juggling seeing everyone I can, and spending some quality time sleeping, unpacking, preparing for going back to class on the 7th, moving into a new house in Athens, and my Indian homework.
Much love to all, glad to be back where calls are local!
