    As another day comes to an end in Kona Town locals stop to watch the colors play upon the sky as the sun sets into the ocean. by: agirlandhercamera Views[149] Shoreline haze as the waves crash and the water recedes. by: agirlandhercamera Views[159] The lava is flowing down from what looks to be a dragon's mouth. Steam rises from the molten lava as it hits the oncoming waves. Moments later, a large piece brakes off and changes the path of the flowing lava. by: agirlandhercamera Views[164] Following the road to the sea, I stopped to capture this panorama of Kohala mountain and the rolling hills during sunset. by: agirlandhercamera Views[207] At a place I like to call turtle beach, a green sea turtle comes up for air. This is one of the many turtles using this area to munch on algae close to shore. Most of the time they are seen hauled out onto the sand to rest.
