Red alert, red alert, I was finally able to add a couple pics amazingly. It took like an hour to add a few pics but at least there are now a few recent ones. Photo Gallery Under Gibraltar I put the monkeys, Tarifa  pics of Mateus taken by me as I was lying in bed as he is coming over to me with his cards. Granada there are a few of our party from the other night and some from Morroco! I have so many more pics but it is so hard to get them out on this website, luckily I have them burned to CDs. I meant to say that while I was in Tarifa I also went on a whale and dolphin watch boat ride. We went out into the Strait of Gibraltar and saw a bunch of dolphins and some sperm whales, it was so amazing. I have a bunch of pics that I will try to get out on the website. I cant concentrate on what I am writing because Ryan found me and he wont shut up, I keep saying ok I will talk to you later, I need to finish this, nothing, I feel mean but sheesh.. so I will finish this later so I can ditch him.. Over and out..

Ok all clear, I love Granada, the history, the windy streets, the views of the city when you hike to the top of the hills, where I am staying is called the Arabic Quarter and it is centrally located. There are Souks here like in Morroco, there is a windy street right by the hostal that you can just get lost in looing at all that they have for sale. I love wandering around looking at everything, getting lost yet finding my way back and finding amazing things on the way. The local people here are very nice and I am improving my spanish trying to say as much as I can in spanish and not english. I discovered that I love mint tea, I had it is Morroco and it is wonderful, it is made with green tea and fresh mint leaves, delicious, I will be making it when I get home. I am sad to leave Granada tomorrow I could live here. I would love to take a Spanish language course over here and live in Spain for a few months. Spain has so much to see, such diversity in different areas and the warm weather soothes my soul. I feel like by not being able to speak other languages I am missing out as I am travellling. Next time I travel I want to at least have more of a comprehension of whatever the language is of wherever I end up going next. When I arrived in Granada I had a bad experience with a cab driver, I got here on Easter and the cab driver overcharged me and dropped me off at the wrong location which of course I did not discover until after he was gone. It was Easter I was sad and lonely for not being with my friends and family not to mention feeling really sick with my cold. The streets here are all cobblestone, like river rock, in cement, so a rolling suitcase is so difficult on that kind of terrain. I tried to find my way but I wasnt anywhere near my hostel so I sat down on a bench in front of a church watching the happy families and couples and just started crying feeling sorry for myself. I allowed myself to let it out for a bit than my theme song started playing in my head

I get knocked down but I get up again, theyre never going to keep me down.

I shifted my mood and grabbed another cab and made my way to my hostel. Oh no the music is coming through from the bar again distracting me, I must be off for my last night here.  XOXO Marci
