Ok...things are better than the day before... with the exception of my laptop is still broke.
1. We got almost all of the paperwork taken care of for the apartment. However, we still have a few more things to get taken care of there.
2. We finally got cell phones! After the one company wanted us to pay $200 per cell phone we went to another company and got "free" cell phones with a two year contract.
3. We bought a car...(box on wheels) Probably not how I would normally go about buying a car without extensive research, but it will have to work. We got a Honda S-MX. I will post a picture of an example of what it looks like. They really seem to like the boxy look of cars around here. I sat in variety of cars trying to figure out a car I would have enough leg room in, plus have room to carry people around with us.
We went to a nice supper with my supervisor tonight and now it is time to head to bed realatively soon. That's about it for major events for day 2.
