    All the boats have eyes painted on them...we were told why, but that was while Hannah and I were lost. Can anyone tell me?

    Enjoyed your pics. When I was a child living in south VN, I was told/taught that the eyes are painted on to make the boat looks like a giant fish, which would frighten and ward off evil spirits and other nasty things.
