Locked and loaded?

I've been preparing, in a very leisurely fashion, for my trip all week long. I packed a long time ago. I've since repacked, adjusted, and packed again. I have my eight shirts and five pairs of pants picked out for Harbin. I have my warm, but less intense clothes picked out for the other cities. Underwear? Check. Camera? Check. Reading material? Check.

I've been cleaning my apartment in stages as well. The floor, the bathroom, the kitchen. Ugh. The kitchen. Washing sheets, sweeping floors, dusting (!), all those beautiful tasks meant to be avoided so I can return to a clean house for the new semester.

I've also been reading quite a bit. Almost done with "Wild Swans".

OH! AND almost done with the complete series of Friends. I've been watching it while all this has been occurring. Wow!
