My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I woke on the morning of Holi to the sound of drums which I believed belonged to a large band perhaps playing to a local community.
I dressed hurriedly grabbed my camera, and ventured towards the sound. Upon reaching my destination I was astonished to find that the sound did
not belong to a parade but a group of boisterous boys hammering on bottles, jars, tins and whatever they could get a hold of blissfully creating havoc with their make-shift percussion.
Holi is an incredibly exciting day for children, who wake in the early hours of the morning to participate in the fun-filled proceedings.
