This was taken outside of the train station in Kyoto. Hundreds of people crowded around the traditionally dressed geisha to watch the sacred art of tea ceremony

In Sapporo far up in northern Japan on the island of Hokkaido the yearly Yuki Matsuri or Snow Festival takes place. These hundreds of snowmen show the care and patience that people have to ensure the festival continues to take place and attract attention to carry on the tradition.
