Day 1 of lessons and profesora Monica may already
be feeling wary. There are 3 of us in the class, Rikkito, Iain from Liverpool
and myself. Iain has been travelling for 4 months and has opted for a 1 week
course to sharpen up on what he has learnt on the road and he has learnt a lot
... but not what Prof Monica may be expecting. Today, from Iain, we learnt how
to buy cocaine in Columbia and that travelling around with prostitutes was
normal in Chile; from the prof we got over 50 adjectives, some 30 words to do
with food we may encounter at the table of our hosts and 3 verb tables, all to
be memorised tonight. Doddle. Great.
Only 23 more days of this self imposed torture.
