If you have been to the Brecon Beacons in March or October then you will be prepared for the Crater Lakes, Moni, Flores at sunrise: drizzly rain, cold, mist. Sunrises are over rated. I know, I have seen dozens and why do I keep going back? because I am 'blessed' with a partner who thinks they are 'wonderful'. Me? I'd enjoy my bed followed by my boiled egg breakfast then rock up to the lakes at about 10 a.m. (taking about 30 minutes via the nicely laid out path) as then the sun would have burnt away the malingering mist and its rays would be bringing forth the irridescence of the low lying waters which gloriously reflect the many layered rock faces that encapture these magical lakes. Magical or scientific, take your pick, but they do change colour, honest.
