    Meet Wu Ming. She weaves reeds and flowers together to create bracelets in which she sells for ¥10 (AUD$1.80). On the west bank of the Huangpu River, a long stretch of flood retaining wall was built. Along the length of this wall flowers were planted into the wall which has now been aptly named Chinese prayers and phrases hang from every vantage point possible, even from branches of low lying trees. by: youarewong Views[404] This temple in Shanghai is constantly having maintenance carried out to ensure that future generations are able to still frequent this place of worship. by: youarewong Views[394] In a city which has seen a meteoric rise in economy and infrastructure, Shanghai is a mix of the old and the new as can be seen in this photo. People flock to the inner city temples on a daily basis to give thanks and pray as skyscrapers are built around the temple perimeter. by: youarewong Views[272]
