Rated from most awesome:
1. 4 gringo adults bicycling on the 100 mile of nothing road - with a 6 - 8 (?) Year old on a tag a long bike attached to each adult bicycle! We even saw the in La Paz about 60 miles and 1 day later.
2. 6 foot snake booking it across the road - and making it
3. Mexican police officer at a check point waving us thru whilst fiddling with his obviously er new and shiny machine gun - all the precious guys had had ratty looking old ones.
4. Horse in a pickup truck that overtook us at about 70 mph
5. 10 super smelly pigs in a trailer that leisurely overtook us - bastard
6. Overtaking a grey-gang of American Harley riders on an organised tour (complete with base van and spare Harley ) that we'd been playing leapfrog with for 2 days - we'd stop at local shacks for meals etc and they'd pass us, then we'd pass them at the next proper eatery. We finally got em when we came up on them gingerly trying to ride thru a 6 mile dirt detour, ha ha ha. Made even funnier as we made sure to blast by them and give a lot of dust.
