My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My background is in business and marketing. I was awarded with an excellence scholarship for college so I took a Six-year undergraduate program in international business with a major in Marketing and specializations in brand management, logistics, and Human resources management. I have 5 years’ experience on academic position as teacher, researcher and administrative assistant and 3 years’ experience as program director and visual marketer. I speak Spanish, English, French and Thai.
I have knowledge of image edition and manipulation, but very few knowledge of capturing, composition and lighting. I certainly believe that graphic design is mixing with digital photography and retouching is expected and demanded. In my photography I spend more time in Photoshop than in the field. Sometimes I take bad pictures (bad lighting and composition) but I know I can edit them so i don’t do my best when it comes to capturing. As “Purist” photographers argue, once the photography is manipulated it does not depict the subject objectively. This scholarship would be the perfect opportunity for learning the real profession in practice with a very talented photographer in an amazing location.
