I am a spanish architect suffering the hardest economical crisis in years.. Specially in Spain the crisis has been related to construction industry and "unfortunately" half a year ago I lost my job.. it was after the initial shock of losing a conventional 9 to 5 job when I had time to think about my future, my true interests and to discover myself.
In these months sending unsuccesfully cvs, I have been able to get deeper knowledge about photography, have some courses, release my website www.xabijuezphotography.com and even shoot the photos in a friends wedding!
Both Travel & Photography are my true passions.. I have known that since I was an student of architecture but I had never been brave enough to give up my architectural career working for an important company...But maybe that time has arrived..
The idea of being able to learn directly from Jason Edwards during a week in Oman, work hand to hand with an outstanding experienced photographer like him and discovering a new country guided by Worldnomads and National Geographic is such a challenging idea that I hardly will be able to sleep until february the 4th.
I hope my pictures worth that opportunity.
