Since 1979 when the Islamic Republic of Iran was created lots of mosques have been constructed. You can easily see huge mosques in tiny villages. Locals are sometimes critic with this compulsive construction of mosques rather than spending taxes in a more reflexive way. In this picture ou can see a couple of people praying in an empty courtyard.
