Great Blue Heron Here is one of the largest birds in the area. It's along the eastern seaboard of Virginia and is the eastern flyway for migratory birds, a haven for wetland birds and all kinds of wildlife. I saw otters, racoons, deer and much more. There are areas where wild horses even roam on the beach. All in all a great place to visit.

White Ibis Here is an immature White Ibis. The car was a perfect blind to take this picture and that of the Osprey. That long beak goes into the mud looking for some scrumptious frogs and worms, Mmmmm.

Hawk There were some song birds around so I took my camera out to get some pictures and this hawk flew in and stayed for 5 to 10 seconds and was gone. It certainly pays to be ready.
