    Hawk There were some song birds around so I took my camera out to get some pictures and this hawk flew in and stayed for 5 to 10 seconds and was gone. It certainly pays to be ready. by: wooley5 Views[289] Great Blue Heron Here is one of the largest birds in the area. It's along the eastern seaboard of Virginia and is the eastern flyway for migratory birds, a haven for wetland birds and all kinds of wildlife. I saw otters, racoons, deer and much more. There are areas where wild horses even roam on the beach. All in all a great place to visit. by: wooley5 Views[379] White Ibis Here is an immature White Ibis. The car was a perfect blind to take this picture and that of the Osprey.
