Two and a half days in Singapore

SINGAPORE | Wednesday, 13 June 2012 | Views [734] | Comments [2]

Arrived in Singapore at 5:30am on Monday 10 June after leaving a stormy Perth.

Caught the MRT to Lavender Station and trekked to the Green Kiwi backpackers.

Took a stroll through Little India to Sim Lin Square to hunt down a new camera. Sim Lin Square is epic and will fulfill any electronics needs.(thanks for the hot tip El :)). Picked up the latest Olympus tough camera (Hugh's big brother) and got my iphones dodgy home button fixed. I purchased a long life battery with the camera but they had yet to come in to stock...the sales guy assures me he'll post it to Vietnam...lets wait and see.

After an authentic lunch i headed off to buy a new watch. Casio G-shock. Nice.

A walk thought Marina Bay finished off the day.

Tuesday 12 June - Tourist Day

Went to check out the Andy Warhol and Harry Potter expos at the Art and Science Museum. Spent the afternoon at Universal Studios on Santosa. Transformers ride was awesome - thanks for that tip Lisa :). Went and saw Prometheus at Vivo city.

Wednesday 13 June - Travel day

Off to the airport at midday to fly to HCMC.
