We decided to go for a walk in the park just to relieve some stress. The taxi picked us up at 12 noon and we checked in at the airport with no problems. We boarded the flight on time and then sat there for 45mins as they had problems with the luggage storage system. Apparently they load the front hold, unloaded it, loaded it and god knows what they did then but we were 45min late leaving. We got to Sydney and it was pouring with rain. We had 30 min until our international flight was due to leave. We virtually ran to Gate 15 where a lady was waiting with a list of people on the Christchurch flight. 10 minutes later the bus came to transfer us to the international terminal. We then had to line for immigration and finally got to the gate expecting to walk straight on the plane, but NO, another delay. We had to wait another 45 min before we left. I managed to score a seat next to a Mariou guy who weighed a tonne. He was bulging out the sides of the seat. We arrived in Christ,church and we through customs easily. We then rang the car company and they sent a bus to take us to their depot where we picked up our car. It is an old Nissan Pulsar, about 15 years old. Unfortunately the heater only works on high fan so is a little noisy. We then drove to our Sudima Hotel Airport where we checked into our room, it is now 12.30 and we are exhausted.
