Up and out walking my morning walk at 5.45am. Today another record, I cut 10 more seconds off the walk. Kevin was not home when I got back as he had also gone walking after I left. He did a similar walk to me. After breakfast we went to the beach and spent a few hours trying to stay cool. It is 36c today and very hot with no breeze to offer relief. We headed back after 1pm. I went to Betel to download some photos from the camera and to put them on Facebook. This took a while as I also put more photos of Monika and Jean-Ann onto the USB to give them on Wednesday night at dinner. From Betel I headed to the gold shop to change some more money. A bit worried as the Grexit has just happened and world markets have fallen back considerably. Still managed to get VND $16,600. I then went looking for silk ties to buy. I bought 6 at VND$80k each which I was happy with. When I got back we went to Vangs for our last dinner with her. Duc was working and so it was just us initially until Tri came back from having a hair cut. Vang told us she was 3 weeks pregnant and very happy with the news. Kevin had thought this was the case. Previously he had told Vang she needed to have another child and that he would baby sit it for her. He was joking of course but I think Vang took him seriously so he is going to have to practice before next year. We thanked Vang again for all her help and friendship and she said we are family and family always eat together and it was not a burden to her or Duc. Friendship hey what an amazing think. Kevin stopped at Kem on the way home.
