Day 82 14th July 2014 Monday. Left by 7.00am as we had packed all the outside away last night. Travelled along Karijini Drive to Karijini National Park. Along the way we passed a lot of mine entrance points and saw lots of trucks carrying ore toward the coast. We were passed by a number of triple B trucks as we were only sitting on 90 -95km/h. Dad stopped for fuel at Auski Roadhouse but I thought I had enough as I had both jerry cans available. Got to Dales Campground by 11.30ish and were met by the campground hosts. We were given sites Dingo 75 and Dingo 76. It cost $33 for 2 nights. Not bad as Kevin gets concessional rates. Found our spot and set up. The campground is well laid out with vans well spaced apart and plenty of drop toilets in each area. We were next to one. There were no copies of the maps for Dales Gorge and so we had to take a photo of the master copy for reference. After lunch Kevin and I headed of toward Fortescue Falls Lookout and then walked down the steep steps to the falls where there were people swimming. We then went onto Fern Pool. This was a lovely cool area with a ladder and platform for swimming. There were plenty of young families with kids as it is school holidays. The water and air temperature were only 22C so we felt it was too cold to swim. From here we then started back along the base of Dales Gorge on the creek-side trail  between Fortescue Falls and Circular Pool Trail. The part of the trail to circular pool was up and over large shale blocks before we reach the fern framed pool. It was very nice. We backtracked out of here to the stairs that lead back to the top of Dales Gorge and to Circular Pool Lookout. We then headed back along the Gorge Rim walking track amongst the white-barked snappy gums and native cypress. Overall it was an enjoyable walk as there was plenty of water flowing in the creeks and we criss-crossed the creek many times on stepping stones. Mum and dad had a lazy afternoon just looking from the Lookouts. After tea canasta was on again as we had no power for TV. Mum and I won easily. Score Girls 2, Boys 3.
