Outside an unfinished section of the mountain are the paints used by the artist, Leonard Knight.

Inside the mountain are hallways and passages that at times resemble a maze, all adorned with messages to and from god.

An old truck and shade structure with a bed, both used as areas of refuge from the hot desert sun for by Leonard when needing a break during his building.
