A college professor once told me that the unexamined life is not worth living. In this fast paced world full of deadlines and responsibilities, I have failed to find or make time to reflect on my life -- where I have been and where I am headed. After 23 years of school, a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D., it's time to jump off the academic treadmill, roll up the sleeves, and do some soul-searching. My 101 day journey to a remote organic farm in Turrialba, Costa Rica begins on September 7, 2010.
