    A little Padaulung girl, very kindly allowed me taking a shot of her while she made a funny gesture. We closed in this way our visit to the village; a visit that we hardly forget. by: viaggio Views[171] The ritual starts when women are little girls; every year one extra ring is added in their necks until they get marry. For the tribe is a tradition and a symbol of beauty. Although the women work in the crafts which should be the matter of attention, the tourists naturally feels impressed by the necklaces which become eventually the focus of heed. by: viaggio Views[210] Padaulung are refugee’s from Myanmar. The women wear a continuous coil around their necks which can weigh up to 22kg and stand as tall as 30cm. They look calm and peaceful, working on their craftsmanship. by: viaggio Views[189] Once we got into the village, the dazzling and coloured fabrics poked out on the wooden tables. But the real heroines of the story were right there selling and looking with curious eyes the people coming just to see them. by: viaggio Views[164] In our way to the Karen hill tribe. A Natural reserve arises wherein other tribes coexist as well. The landscape is calm, green, and full of life; it welcomes and invites visitors to go in and submerge into a charming promenade. by: viaggio Views[244]
