Once we got into the village, the dazzling and coloured fabrics poked out on the wooden tables. But the real heroines of the story were right there selling and looking with curious eyes the people coming just to see them.

In our way to the Karen hill tribe. A Natural reserve arises wherein other tribes coexist as well. The landscape is calm, green, and full of life; it welcomes and invites visitors to go in and submerge into a charming promenade.

Padaulung are refugee’s from Myanmar. The women wear a continuous coil around their necks which can weigh up to 22kg and stand as tall as 30cm. They look calm and peaceful, working on their craftsmanship.
