Looking for the Fifth Elephant

Now for something completely different

I do actually have a really good reason for looking forward to my birthday.

Only nine days after I'll be seeing one of my most favourite people in the whole wide world.  My little younger brother is coming to visit!

I just found out that my mother has definately booked the tickets.  He'll be in Europe on the 20th of June. Yay!

It would be absolutely perfect if Andrew could come too, I'd even be able to put up with he and Ali fighting over me all the time.  But Mum wouldn't spring for the ticket :( ... hehe

Of course it would be better than perfect if Mum and Dad were coming too ...

Now we've just got to work out what we'll do exactly.

I've tried explaining to him that our budget won't allow us to stay in 5 star hotels.

I think he's got a month here so we want to see as much as possible in that time - including trying to see a Smashing Pumpkins concert.

Come over to England! I'm going for this really cool job at a pub in Buckinghamshire as a bar manager - A free flat, free food, 200 pounds a week plus perks. Perks including hot barmaids with any luck. ;)

Will let you know when/whether I'm coming over to Poland once I hear back from the pub guy; I may have to start sooner than expected if I am lucky enough to get the Buckinghamshire job.

Love your journal. Will go through it properly later rather than skimming & make sure Ali sees it. We ended up at Brekkie Creek for my birthday/wedding anniversary & even Ali liked it. Daniel's opportunity sounds interesting.

In good news I got the job! I now have my very own bar and flat in the village of Olney, famed for being the place where "Amazing Grace" was written and home of the great Pancake Race (whatever the heck that is).

I've also finally sorted out my plane tickets - I'll be arriving in London on April 2 then flying across to Poland on April 3. I'm flying back to the UK on April 7 so we'll have a couple of days to catch up. :)
