Canadas Yukon

I reached the Canadian customs and after a few cursory questions was welcomed into Canada. If Canada is anything like Alaska i could not help but enjoy it. I rode on through rugged and beautiful terrain. There was still snow everywhere and rivers and lakes were still iced up. It felt like i was in some sort of wonderland, riding my bike through someones landscape portrait. Then the roadworks started, gravel piled high made the bike buck and weave with the front end feeling like it would wash out at any minute, this is where the weight of the bike really proved to be a handicap. Nervously i would approach each section and when i thought i had it mastered a new problem gravel and wet slidy mud sections. With tightly clenched buttocks i continued on until exhausted i reached a campsite which i cant remember the name of but will update on the next entry. It all came back to me it was Whitehorse and the campsite was situated on a river. At about 10.30pm i was joined by 2 guys on bikes who looked more exhausted than me. The next morning i noticed my rear tyre looking a little torn up, but thought i should make Vancouver. Bad move!
