Today is Holly’s 32nd birthday. We are going to the Australia Zoo so she can pet a Koala for her birthday. I am still not feeling a 100% so we hope I survive the day in the sun. The zoo was ok but nothing spectacular especially for how much it cost ($55 each ouch) We are staying close by at a caravan park with a pool so I can cool of when needed. We will be moving on tomorrow to Maroochydor so we will be near the beach again. We stayed here for a few nights until I was feeling better. We went to a movie at the mall and just walked the cute little town. Once I was feeling better we went to the Glass mountains lookouts and another waterfall for a swim in some rock pools. We went to Kulundra to celebrate Australia Day. There was markets, and it seemed everyone in Australia had flags on there cars and were out and about. Crazy busy everywhere just like one of our holidays. We spent most of the day just drifting in the ocean currents and people watching. We headed off to Kings Beach and took a quick dip. As It is so hot on the coast we decided to head inland to Buderim Falls and found a quit spot we could swim in the falls pools. In our searches for our next home we went to Briby Island and took a quick dip. A Ausi said that he saw a Blue Bottle stinging jelly fish so we got out of the water just as we heard a little girl start to scream. Yup it got her.. A little vinegar and she will be fine in an hour of two. We were headed to the inland National Parks for a few days to see the rock formations, and rain forest. We did manage to find the windiest, bumpiest road in Australia LOL. We would stay the night in the Green Mountains. It has been raining on and off and is very wet. Guess that is why it is called a rain forest. :P
