My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Japan | Wednesday, January 2, 2013 | 5 photos
My passion for photography started off in my final year of Architecture degree, it was a way for me to make visual study and an instrument used in understanding places by exploring and taking street photography and urban architecture in my local city in Sydney.
Past two years whilst working as a young architect, I wanted to take better photography and develop technical skills to explore different areas of photography by completing online photography course. I become uncertain with my career and spontaneously I went on a solo travel to Japan on a photography exploration.
As the world is in a constant change in our natural and the built environment, photography is something of the emotion I feel towards better understanding and viewing the world differently. I want to contribute with photography an effective way to teach the public in addressing the issues particularly with climate change.
With my self-motivated, adventures and explorative nature and interest in learning and researching different place, I felt I would be a suitable person for this travel scholarship.
For me it would be a dream and a lifetime learning opportunity to work with Jason Edwards and in the field at Oman.
