Wll after a gorgeous few days it's time to push on down the Peruvian coast. We've decided to take a night bus to Lima (Peru's capital and 60% of the population lives there). There's one town between here and there we would like to visit but we'll hit it on the way back up.
We've got to pop into Lima (we were hoping to avoid it) but I've got to do a few things at the American embassy - like figure out how to get around the fact that Glen will be staying in the USA for 13 days too long for his visa. Something that missed our plans totally. We might go visit Mexico (we wanted to already) and stay there about 14 days. We'll sort something out.
We also want to visit the 'black market' there looking for speakers (we bought a cd player finally for bus trips) and rechargable batteries.
Our bus is at 10.45 tonight and will take 10 hours. We're on a crappy bus with no toilet so we'll stop drinking at sometime this arvo.
We only plan to stay for 2 days as we're not a fan of the big cities.
So now I've got to sign off, check out and head out for our final lunch at our favorite restaurant for seafood!!!
