We had a fun christmas - slightly different than normal.

We found a small christmas tree to hang our 2 aussie orndaments on. Wrapping paper is an extravagance here so our pressies were wrapped in newspaper. We had a $20 limit each and both went our separete ways. Presents were fun but also essential - Glen got spray deoderant - he has decided roll on isn't for him. I got some nivea cream for my sunburned body. We both got pants - Glen got a crazy purple pair very similar to what he use to wear in Lismore (Happypants). Other pressies included necklace made of vegetable ivory, a small radio and Glen got me a Paul Coelo book in spanish (because I read all the english books too fast) i'm slowly working through it.

For lunch we headed to our favorite ecuadorian restaurant in town and got a ecuadorian specility we've been told to try, Gutita. Unfort it was cow stomach and strangley enough I could stomach it (no pun intended) but poor Glen was not impressed with the bile flavor. A new experience for sure.

We headed back to the hotel and just had a quiet afternoon.
