Got to Westport and what should I said? WE'VE GOT A NEW PET AGAIN!!!! Found this nice little Weka on the carpark when we watched out for the lighthouse at Cape Foulwind near Westport.Wekas are so strange! Can't fly (like Kiwis)and watch out for everythink shiny they can get.So we need to take care of spoons and especially OUR CAR KEY! We found also a real nice seal colony out there and a lot of sunshine again. So we didn't do really much at the moment. It's better after our hard Sandfly night in Kawatiri junktion. There are millions and millions of them. So LISTEN TO ME: NEVER, and I mean never, STAY THERE! They eat you in one part. So you can just exist there if you move! They got into our car through the gum of the windows!!!!!!Small flys(look like our Obstfliegen)and they bite you really hard and take a pice or YOUR MEAT for lunch. It's bleeding and you need to itch several days or you go mad. They are not our new pets! But now were here at the seaside and it's to windy here for them. Good for us. So we need to think about going to the Milford Sound because there are also millions of sandflys. We will stay some more days here and heal our wounds from the flys. So we walk a lot and try to surf. Tonight we changed our sleeping point to Les Warren Reserve. A good surf spot is near. YEEEPPIIEEEE
