Crazy Christmas, I was able to upload some photos (Christmas in Kenya photo gallery), trying to upload a video of Lucy's village but internet is too slow!  In any case, I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season!

Dad and I just watched your amazing video of Lucy's Village. Quite different than what we experienced here, except that we didn't have snow either. We had turkey - how was the goat? Love you.

Sylvia,
How did you get so beautiful? What's your next stop? How long will you be there? We are at cousin Ben and Voula's new home in Rockville, MD. Happy New Year.

Hi- happy new year - I hope you are enjoying your very different start to 2009 - I leave tomorrow for Israel for 10 days so I will be slightly closer to you but still far away. We had lamb here but I am not sure who did the deed to give us the lamb -you are amazing! Take care! Love, Lorna

Happy New Year, Sylvia. Of course, you got to celebrate 2009 before we did. Your blog about the pickpocket reminded me of a time in 1975 when a man on a train in Sweden was going through my stuff in the middle of the night and actually had plucked my passport. I woke up in time to stop him from taking it. He mumbled an excuse that he thought he was getting into his luggage but he wasn't even in the 4-seat cabin I was sitting in! Since then, especially on foreign travels, I have worn the documents most valuable to me around my neck or discreetly on my person, like I'm sure you're going to do from now on. I hope you enjoy your stay in Kenya and the other great places you have yet to visit. Love reading your blogs!

Happy New Year...and my gosh, what a way to start your new year---with a world view that must be more evolved than most! How great is that! Like your Mom, loved the video of Lucy's village AND this photo. Stay safe and keep evolving! A hug, Aunt Lynn

Happy new year!!!
Sounds like you had a great Christmas.
I think I've done something wrong on this blog thing, i thought I had set it up to notify me when you posted a new note, but it isn't :( Oh well, as i keep using it my computer skills will improve, and maybe one day i will work out how to download the Africa videos i have. But don't hold your breath! LOL
Keep enjoying yourself and laughing xxxxxx

Mele Kalikimaka and Hauoli Makahiki Hou!
Which ones are you two in the photo? Just kidding! We're not used to seeing you in a photo where you look so minority-like.
We had a great quiet holday season. Your Mom sent us a package full of Trader Joe goodies. In the interest of being humane, I will not go into the mouth-watering details. I posted on the last that we have a new neighbor/friend who has been to many of the places you have been. With love.
