Well, now I don't remember all the details but basically I met up with Michelle and we went to talk to Penina, the cook at the IU house, about making us bags because she does that on the side, and I told her I had heard she sings in a gospel choir and I was interested in listening to them and Penina said "Listen now, our small group is about to have rehearsal!" So Michelle and I sat while Penina and her small group choir sang gospel songs in Luhya (Western Kenyan tribe), and at one point she handed me the lyrics to one of their songs and I started singing along in harmony and everyone was happy and when we had to go they all said "When will you sing with us again? We are here every Wednesday!" So I think I've found myself a little musical group to sing in while I'm in Eldoret... That's all for now, Kareem is screaming at me to hurry up because we're leaving and I'm always running late. Well, at least in Africa running late is the norm!!!!!!!!

It's great to hear that you found your niche! But what has Mich been up to while you're off singing and getting barfed on by babies?

We are enjoying your journals. Beautiful pictures of the Delta. Stop by on your way back from Asia. The downstairs guest house will be pimped out with an indoor deck, kitchenette and a shower with a view of the great outdoors.

Sounds like you are having some great adventures. Call us collect when you have a chance, hopefully soon. We are trying to get our tickets in order and need to confer on dates.

Keep singing!
