The boring stuff: I'm a 19 year old Indian girl currently living in Brno, Czech Republic. I'm in the third year of my Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences with a Year in Industry. I study in the University of East Anglia, UK. During this year I am working as a researcher in the Institute of Biophysics and attending classes at Masaryk University, Brno.
Who I am: I spent my childhood in the UK and went to high school in India. The cultures of these countries are completely different and it made me open my eyes to people from different backgrounds. I have had the privilege to travel to many amazing countries and I love learning about the histories behind each city. Of course, I love trying foreign food as well!
Why I write a journal: In 2016 I had the privilege to travel to 10 new countries. The experiences were surreal and will probably remain some of the best memories of my life for a long time. I have hundreds of photos to share with the world on facebook, instagram etc. Although I try my best to caption each photo with an interesting explanation, it doesn't get across what the atmosphere felt like, what sights and smells we came across nor how I truly felt in that exact moment. Hence, I decided to try writing a travel journal for the first time. Wish me luck!
