Most lepers in town still feel ashamed about their illness, this man seems to have accepted his situation, as he asks me to take a photograph with his wooden rifle.

Although cured, these lepers are unable to work because of their disabilities. With out family members nearby they pass the time by playing cards among themselves and sometimes small talk with tourists who actually want to ineract with them. They say, seldom do people actually come close and talk with them, they were very pleased that I did.
