Before trying it, my traditionalist Italian mother feared the avocado with spaghetti, some conservative Indian friends had doubts about masala curry with pasta, some Mexican buddies claimed this is just macaroni with guacamole, and a couple of Persian friends where not sure about the use of pistachio beyond pastry (which Sicilians know well, instead). After tasting it, they all loved it. And asked one more serving. by: snakesfordinner Views[275] Italian or Spanish white wine is recommended. But as this is a melting pot cuisine, if you don't have it, fresh fermented coconut wine will be also ok, depending on where you are in the world :-).
