Just finishing breakfast before heading out to Rabanal del Camino about 20 Kms away. Weather is sunny and coolish with a clear sky. Very nice hotel and typical European breakfast. Well gotta hit the trail... unfortunately Cindy has picked up a cold so hopefully it will wear off with the walk..
Just finished dinner and having a coffee @ the bar . Cindy has a cold and has gone to the room to rest. Today was a beautiful day but longer distance wise than expected. Just over 22kms or 13 miles. Had a little mishap by tripping over my hiking pole .. scrapped elbow and knee but not to bad .. just like fallingoof my tricycle years ago.. many years ago. Tommorrow is another long day with a similar distance. Great time so far,. Lovely little towns to walk through with very hosptiable people all wishing us a "buen Camino". Rain is expected tomorrow on some of the route .. but we will cope...can't control the weather which so far has been stunning...almost 25% completed on our leg (Leon to Santiago- approx 320 kms)... so still a ways to go....
