This red building stands just across Pearl Centre, and like its iconic neighbour, had seen much over the years. In the early years, it was cramped and over crowded with Chinese immigrants, but its current clean and well-mantained state is testament to Singapore's development as a country.

Pearl Centre greets tourists and civilians alike to Chinatown, Singapore. Famous for traditional Chinese herbs and dessert, the history and uniqueness of this building sets it apart.

A renowned Buddhist temple set along aptly named Temple Street in Chinatown, Singapore, its distinctive shape and colour reflect the essence of Chinatown. The building, like most in the area, are red for good luck, and prosperity. The temple usually sees heavy traffic, but is a picture of serenity in the early morning.
