Pearl Centre greets tourists and civilians alike to Chinatown, Singapore. Famous for traditional Chinese herbs and dessert, the history and uniqueness of this building sets it apart.

No description of Singapore will be complete without showcasing its classic apartment buildings. This blue block is one of the few reprieves from red paint in Chinatown, Singapore, and sits on top of the famous Chinatown Wet Market.

This red building stands just across Pearl Centre, and like its iconic neighbour, had seen much over the years. In the early years, it was cramped and over crowded with Chinese immigrants, but its current clean and well-mantained state is testament to Singapore's development as a country.
