These kids were no different. When they saw themselves on the video screen they thought it was the most hilarious thing they'd ever seen. by: sharoncrean Views[582] These kids don't have the money to pay for school fees so instead one of their jobs was to collect water for their families. We would baulk at the idea of a 4 year old carrying 30kg's of water but to them it's all they've ever known. by: sharoncrean Views[671]
     
    While checking out the hand pump who would come along but a couple of women and a child. They told us they were very happy because they didn't have to walk 7km's each day just to get water. Instead it was only a couple of minutes walk. They weren't too keen on getting their photo taken until they discovered we were the ones who got the well organised. by: sharoncrean Views[349] Watoto Baby Village is a relatively new initiative. Looking after babies from one day old to two years the dedicated staff nuture the babies as if they were their own. by: sharoncrean Views[668]
