Santiago is a huge city that is surrounded by the Andes so it is in a troph of a big basin. There is heaps of smog from pollution like any big city i suppose.
We had a walk around the town the first day, the hostel was nice. Second day we saw a few tourist sites that were interesting, including Pablo Neruda´s house who won a noble peace prize for his literature. We went to a winery out of town which we caught a train and then a bus to get there. The trains at peak hour are like a mosh pit and the lines to get on them are 5 or 6 rows deep.
We had a lovely dinner in a traditional chilien restaruant food was delicious and got to write a message on there wall.
A couple of days was enough in this place we were keen to get out and see the country.
