Andy & Shannon's Trip of a Lifetime

Our first destination

Santiago is a huge city that is surrounded by the Andes so it is in a troph of a big basin. There is heaps of smog from pollution like any big city i suppose.

We had a walk around the town the first day, the hostel was nice. Second day we saw a few tourist sites that were interesting, including Pablo Neruda´s house who won a noble peace prize for his literature. We went to a winery out of town which we caught a train and then a bus to get there. The trains at peak hour are like a mosh pit and the lines to get on them are 5 or 6 rows deep.

We had a lovely dinner in a traditional chilien restaruant food was delicious and got to write a message on there wall.

A couple of days was enough in this place we were keen to get out and see the country.

Hi World Travellers,

Well the photos look awesome and they speak for themselves. It looks like both of u are having a great time and it did look cold at times. I am indeed very jealous and wish I was at all of those fantastic places. I have just been to the Whitsundays to visit Jordie and it was beautiful. I got to see the movie set for the Baz Luhman film Australia. Jordes and I are definately coming overseas when he finishes this job. Hopefully, within 2 months, fingers crossed. He might be sent to WA to build some sets for the movie there but I will go with him. Hopefully close to where Dono's lives and I can go hang out with him and go fishing for some Barra. Anyway, miss u guys already and hope to see you real soon.
