Dry Dry Dry Desert

CHILE | Thursday, 8 January 2009 | Views [558]

So after new years martin, myself, and 2 girls from australia went to san pedro de atacama, chile. It was a 18 hour bus ride from santiago and is on the border with bolivia. The atacama desert is the driest place on earth. NASA does alot of tests there because of the similarities to the moon and mars. The day after we arrived we went on a tour to the famous Valley of the moon which was incredible. Martin and i climbed a massive sand dune and then ran down it. We then walked thru the valley and caught the sunset overlooking the valley.

Next up, to ambadassor-less bolivia!!
