Soo backpackers are usually quite the party people. And towns like bangkok, sydney, buenos aires, and rio are famous for extragavent drunk stories. But the best one i have heard happened about a month ago in rio. One of the guys i was hanging out with while i was in b.a. was a london guy named ahmed. Well when he was at this hostel in rio there was partying everyday everynight. Well anyways he goes out and parties one night...comes home around 5am and gets into bed, turns out the lights. And he´s laying there for about 5 minutes when all of a sudden he hears a beer can open in a bunk on the other side of the room (small room). So there is a guy who is drinking beer..lying in bed...in a pitch dark room. Probably got an alcohol problem. Well the guy pretty much smashes the beer and thats all that ahmed heard from him..until he hears this huge friggin crash..this guy falls out of the top bunk...quietly moans...makes no attempt to move...and passes out on the floor for the night.
Ahmed said the guy slept sooo long that the maid service mopped the floors around him, made all the beds, including his own, and this guy eventually woke up around 3 or 4pm with a large bruises all over. Apparently this guy never puked that night and had a 2 day hangover.
